A first birthday cake smash session is a great way to celebrate your baby’s first year. These portraits are unique, memorable, and make incredible decor at your baby's party, party invites, and gifts for your family. Smash & Splash sessions are SO much fun, and stress-free. We sing, dance, clap & act goofy so that those big baby smiles are bound to happen.

Your baby’s first birthday is absolutely a time to celebrate, just choose a theme/color scheme & I'll take care of the rest!

I will work with you to chose a coordinating outfit, and all the little details you'd like to incorporate!

Each session has a custom matching smash cake baked by a local bakery that can accommodate most allergies and goes perfectly with your set. Cakes are baked fresh just for your session; and bonus, whatever your baby doesn't finish, you get to take that cake home with you!

Every session includes a bubble bath at the end of our session with a one of a kind tub prop; where your little one will have so much fun splashing in the bubbles! The bath truly brings out some of the best big smiles!

With multiple session packages, we can accommodate whatever theme or color scheme you have in mind! We can go as simple as a color palette, or go BIG with a fun theme! As a backdrop designer, no theme is off the table and no set is ever the same!

Prestige Images is a professional cake smash studio located in Irwin, PA and serves the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Including surrounding areas; Monroeville, Greensburg, Jeannette, Export, Murrysville, and Delmont.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

When should I schedule a cake smash session?
- If you are thinking of booking a session, it is best to book at least 6 months before their birthday to guarantee a spot on my calendar! But still reach out! I will do my best to accommodate!
When will I receive my photos?
- As soon as you submit your selections, I added you immediately to my editing queue. Every image is carefully edited by hand and can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to return your edited images back to you.
What should my child wear?
- I will work with you to select the perfect outfit. I have a list of some of my favorite vendors to provide!
May I incorporate special props (personalized and meaningful items)?
- You are more than welcome to bring any props you’d like! Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan the artistic shoot. Otherwise, I will take care of all the work designing your custom set!
What if my child doesn’t eat the cake?
- Unfortunately, this does happen, but not often! I have some tricks up my sleeve to provide a successful smash cake session!
Who may attend the cake smash session?
- We ask that only the baby's parents attend the session until further notice. This will limit the amount of people in the studio on a daily basis. Also, the less people, the less of a distraction for your baby.
May I be in the pictures with my child?
- Please see the add-on information above for pricing and additional information. However, it is preferred to just focus on the baby for this milestone session.
What happens if I need to cancel or postpone?
- People get sick and circumstances change, meaning that occasionally cancellations or postponements are unavoidable. Session deposit may be transferred to rescheduling your session.
